Your SABRE HotCut SYSTEM NOTE: The Hot Knife its holder and blade are not included. The SABRE HotCut System has been designed to accept: l Either a hot knife attachment which accepts the HSG-0 heated knife manufactured by HSGM and will need to be fitted with a Type 'R' blade. l Or a hot knife attachment which accepts the AZ manufactured TC20 heated knife fitted with a T 013/45 blade.

Fitting the End stop Each Hot Knife Attachment comes with and End Stop and fixing screw which should be fitted to the left hand Lift Arm of the Sabre HotCut as shown.

Fitting the HSGM Hot Knife holder The HSGM Hot Knife attachment has been designed to accept the HSG-0 Heated Knife fitted with a Type ‘R’ blade. A A = Tighten to clamp Hot Knife into holder B = Loosen to open up the base when fitting on to slideway C B C = Loosen screw and slide block to adjust point at which the trigger switches the hot knife on. D = Sliding bearing adjustment screws. D 2 1 D A heatproof protective surface must be placed on the base of the machine under the fabric.

Fitting and use of the HSGM HOT KNIFE 3 A 5 4 E C F 3 To fit the Hot Knife, simply insert it into the holder ensuring the nose of the Hot Knife is seated fully into its recess. Tighten knob A and check the Hot Knife is fully gripped in position, the blade should cut about 2-3mm (1/16” to 1/8”) away from the edge of the slideway. 4 Depress the Hot Knife and the trigger should switch the heat on prior to it coming into contact with the fabric.

Fitting the AZ Hot Knife holder The AZ Hot Knife attachment has been designed to accept the TC 20 Heated Knife and will need to be fitted with a Type 'T 013/45' blade. A = Tighten to clamp Hot Knife into holder C A B = Loosen to open up the base when fitting on to slideway C = Rotate knob to adjust point at which the trigger switches the hot knife on B D = Sliding bearing adjustment screws. D 1 2 D A heatproof protective surface must be placed on the base of the machine under the fabric.
