Safety Tips Before using this appliance, it must be properly positioned and installed as described in this manual, so please read the manual carefully. Installation Instructions BEFORE USE: • Remove the exterior and interior packaging. • Before turning on the unit, let it stand upright for a minimum of 2 hours. This will allow the coolant to settle and reduce the possibility of a malfunction in the cooling system from handling during transportation. • Clean the interior surface with lukewarm water using a soft cloth. • This appliance is designed for freestanding use.
Care and Maintenance Cleaning your refrigerator: • Turn off the power, unplug the appliance, and remove all items including shelves. • Wash the inside surfaces with warm water and baking soda solution. The solution should be about 2 tablespoons of baking soda to a quart of water. • Wring excess water out of the sponge or cloth when cleaning area of the controls, or any electrical parts. • Wash the outside cabinet with warm water and mild liquid detergent. Rinse and wipe dry with a clean soft cloth.
Reversing the Door Swing Tools Required: Philips Style Screwdriver / Flat Blade Screwdriver / Hexagonal Spanner • It is recommended that 2 people handle the unit for door reversal. • Be sure the unit is unplugged and empty. • Tilt the unit backwards and rest it on something solid so that it will not slip. Do not lay the unit flat on its back, as this may damage the coolant system. • Adjust the two leveling feet to their highest position. • All parts removed must be saved for reinstallation of the door. 1.
