Use and Care Manual

Setting the Temperature
The Kegco Kegerator is able to maintain the proper dispensing temperature for beer, provided it is installed correctly in
the proper environment. Avoid opening and closing the door of the kegerator too often to ensure a consistent
temperature inside the unit. Beer is dispensed best between 32°F - 38°F (1°C - 3.3°C). If it is kept below or above that
range, you may experience foam issues.
To start, turn the temperature control knob to the maximum setting
(7) to achieve coldest position quickly. Allow the unit to run for 48
hours. The temperature range of the thermostat goes from 31°F to
41°F (-0.5°C to 5°C). Thereafter, adjust the thermostat to desired
temperature range. To turn off the Beer Dispenser, turn the
control knob to the “OFF” position.
CAUTION: Leaving the temperature control on the coldest setting
may cause the evaporator coil to freeze and ice up. This will
eventually result in a warmer cabinet temperature.
If you are going on vacation, you may leave the kegerator operating during vacations of less than three weeks. If the
appliance will not be used for several months, you should remove all items and turn off the appliance. Clean and dry the
interior thoroughly. To prevent mold growth, leave the door open slightly, blocking it open if necessary.
Keg Configuration
Kegco XCK-1 Kegerators are large enough to fit a full-size keg or multiple smaller kegs, giving you the flexibility to serve a
combination of different beers from one kegerator. Some configurations may require mounting the CO2 tank outside
the cabinet.
