5.2 – TABS
The top of the K-Mix Editor window houses the tab switching buttons. There are ve available tabs: Channel
Strip, Reverb, Surround, MIDI, and USB. Clicking one of these will display related parameters in the main tab
area.
5.2.1 – CHANNEL STRIP TAB
The Channel Strip tab houses all of the trims, DSP, and routing options available
for each input and output channel, just like on a traditional mixing console.
There are four types of channel strips:
Input channel strips
Aux channel strips
Phones channel strip
Mains channel strip
Each type of channel strip contains different available options.
5.2.1.1 – INPUT CHANNEL STRIP (1–8)
Each of the 8 input channels have their own channel strip with identical options. Each input channel
strip has its own Input Trim, Rumble Filter, Fader Group, EQ, Gate, Compressor, and Routing Sections.
To access one of the Input Channel Strips, simply click one of the channel select buttons above faders
1–8 (in the editor). The editor will automatically display the appropriate channel strip in the main tab
area.
