5.4.4 – HARDWARE
The Hardware menu contains the following options:
5.4.4.1 – FORCE FIRMWARE UPDATE
This option allows for manually initiating a rmware update for the connected K-Mix.
Once selected, you will be asked to conrm that you would indeed like to update the rmware on your
K-Mix.
• Select “OK” to proceed with the rmware update. The process will automatically commence.
• Select “Cancel” to cancel the rmware update.
5.4.5 – HELP
The Help menu contains the following options:
5.4.5.1 – DOCUMENTATION
Opens the K-Mix manual in your computer’s default PDF reader.
5.4.5.2 – SHOW/HIDE TOOL TIPS
Toggles between showing and hiding the tool tip pop-ups when hovering over a control.
Tool tips provide quick, easy access to information regarding K-Mix editor controls. Want a brief
description of what a specic control does without having to dive through this manual? Turn tool tips on
and hover your mouse over the control in question.
5.4.5.3 – CHECK FOR UPDATES
Manually checks to see if there is a newer version of the K-Mix Editor available. An internet connection is
required for this to function properly.
