Když se odešle některý z těchto příkazů, měřený vstupní signál se vytvoří a vyžádá jako referenční
hodnota. Tento příkaz se obvykle používá k vynulování displeje. Například, když se na displeji
zobrazuje ofset 1 µV, odesláním tohoto příkazu a povolením reference (viz :STATe) se displej
vynuluje.
Tento příkaz je platný, jen když je přístroj v specifikované funkci měření. Pokud je v jiné funkci,
způsobí se chyba. Stejně se tak po odeslání tohoto příkazu objeví chyba v případě, že je výsledek
mimo rozsah („OFLO“) nebo když se výsledek neobjeví („- - -„).

Tyto příkazy se používají k výběru rozlišení displeje pro specifikovanou funkci měření.
I když parametry tohoto příkazu mají formu celých čísel (4 až 7), můžete rozlišení specifikovat také
ve formě reálných čísel. Například pro výběr rozlišení 3H digit nechte <n> = 3.5, pro 4H digit = 4.5 atd.
Přístroj interně zaokrouhlí hodnotu vloženého parametru na nejbližší celé číslo.

Tyto příkazy se používají k výběru typu digitálního filtru (REPeat, nebo MOVing) průměru
specifikované funkce.
Počet výsledků, který se filtrem průměruje, se nastaví příkazem :AVERage:COUNt.
Pro povolení nebo zakázání filtru se použije příkaz :AVERage:STATe. Změnou typu filtru
se vypíná automatický filtr.

Tyto příkazy se používají k určení počtu filtrování. Tento počet obvykle označuje počet výsledků,
které jsou uloženy ve vyrovnávací paměti filtru pro výpočet průměru. Čím je počet filtrování vyšší,
tím víc se jich provede.
