List mode example
This example configures a 5 step list to be executed 2 times in continuous mode. The list is saved in
location 3. The instrument runs the list upon entering the list mode operation.

Keystrokes
Use the following procedures to configure the list parameters,create the list steps, save the list, run,
and stop running the list. In these procedures, you can use the arrow keys, numeric keypad, or the
navigation wheel to select or enter numbers.
To configure the list parameters:
1. Press Shift and 1 to display the configuration menu.
2. Select Edit List. Press Enter. The display shows Recall 1.
3. Indicate that you want to save the list you are creating in location 3 by selecting 3 and pressing
Enter. The display shows Continuous.
4. Indicate that you want the continuous mode by selecting Continuous and pressing Enter. The
display shows Repeat 1.
5. Indicate that you want to repeat the sequence twice by selecting 2 and press Enter. The
display shows List Steps 1.
6. Indicate that there will be 5 steps in the list by selecting 5 and pressing Enter. The display shows
S 001= 0.000 V.
This completes entering the list parameters. You are ready to configure the first step.
To configure the first step in the list:
1. Input S 001= 2.000 V. Press Enter. The display shows S 001= 0.0000A.
2. Input S 001= 5.000 A as the current limit. Press Enter. The display shows S 001= 1.001S.
3. Input S 001= 0.001 S as the duration of the step. Press Enter. The display shows S 002=
0.000V.
This completes the configuration of the first step. You are ready to configure the second step.
