3. Remove the screw that secures each mounting ear (2).

4. Pull down and out to remove each ear.
5. From the bottom of the instrument, pull out the rubber feet (4) and remove the screws.

6. Store the handle, bumpers, rubber feet, and hardware for future use.
You can install the Graphical Display instrument on either side of the rack. The following steps
outline installation of the Graphical Display instrument on the left side of the rack. To locate the
instrument on the right side, switch the location of the Graphical Display front-rack ear (2450-360)
with the other front-rack ear (2602-355), and also switch the hinges (2450-361 with 2602-328).
To install the mounting hardware on the instruments:
1. Place the instruments side-by-side (see figure).
2. Secure the front-rack ear (1) (2450-360) to the Graphical Display instrument using two 6-32 x 5/8" pan
head screws (2) as shown in the figure.
3. Orient the hinge (3) (2450-361) so that the knuckles are toward the front of the Graphical Display
instrument.
4. Secure the hinge (3) to the Graphical Display instrument with two 6-32 x 7/16" flat head screws (4).
5. Orient the hinge (5) (2602-328) so that the knuckles are toward the front of the other instrument.
6. Series 24xx or Series 2000 instrument only: To secure the hinge (5) to the instrument, use the 8-32 x
3/8" flat head screws (6) through the holes toward the rear of the instrument.
7. Agilent instrument only: To secure the hinge (5) to the instrument, use the M4 x 12 mm flat head screws
(6) through the holes toward the front of the instrument.
8. Series 24xx or Series 2000 instrument only: To secure the front-rack ear (7) (2602-355) to the
instrument, secure with two 8-32 x 3/8" pan head screws (8) through the holes toward the rear of the
instrument.
9. Agilent instrument only: To secure the front-rack ear (7) (2602-355) to the instrument, secure with two
M4 x 12 mm pan head screws (8) through the holes toward the front of the instrument.
