Gesundheit durch Innovation Das Zubereiten von Reis und das Dämpfen von Gemüse mit einem Reiskocher basiert auf einem anderen Prinzip als bei der herkömmlichen Art der Speisenzubereitung. Der Reis bzw. das Gemüse wird besonders geschmacksintensiv zubereitet. Durch die Dämpffunktion wird Gemüse und Fisch vitaminschonend gegart, das erhält den natürlichen Geschmack, schont die Nährstoffe und verhindert die Bildung schädlicher Verbindungen.
1. Wichtige Sicherheitshinweise Verwendungszweck Der Reiskocher ist für das Zubereiten von Reis und Gargut geeignet. Für das Braten von Speisen ist er nicht geeignet! Er ist ausschließlich für den privaten Haushalt konzipiert und für gewerbliche Zwecke ungeeignet! Der Hersteller übernimmt keine Verantwortung bei falschem Gebrauch, der durch Nichtbeachtung der Gebrauchsanleitung zustande kommt. Um Gefährdungen zu vermeiden dürfen Reparaturen am Gerät nur durch einen Kundendienst ausgeführt werden.
5. Wenn das Gerät nicht verwendet wird oder wenn es gereinigt werden soll, ziehen Sie den Netzstecker. Lassen Sie das Gerät vor dem Reinigen und vor dem Anbringen bzw. Entfernen von Teilen abkühlen. 6. Betreiben Sie Geräte nicht, falls Netzkabel oder Netzstecker beschädigt sind oder Fehlfunktionen oder Beschädigungen aufgetreten sind. 2. Besondere Hinweise zum Netzkabel A Das Netzkabel ist kurz, um die Gefahr des Verfangens im Kabel oder des Stolperns darüber zu verringern. B Verlängerungskabel können bei sachgemäßem Einsatz verwendet werden. C Falls ein Verlängerungskabel verwendet wird: (1) Die Strombelastbarkeit des Verlängerungskabels muss mindestens so groß sein wie die elektrische Leistungsaufnahme des Geräts. (2) Das Verlängerungskabel muss so geführt werden, dass es nicht über den Kanten hängt.
3. Vor dem ersten Gebrauch Nehmen Sie das Gerät aus der Verpackung. GEFAHR FÜR KINDER – Lebensgefahr durch Ersticken/Verschlucken von Verpackungsmaterial. Halten Sie das Verpackungsmaterial von Kindern fern. Entsorgen Sie es sofort. Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker aus der Steckdose. Reinigen Sie den Behälter mit heißem Wasser und etwas Spülmittel vor der ersten Benutzung. Wischen Sie den Topf mit einem Tuch trocken.
4. Bezeichnung und Funktion der Teile Die Bedienung ist sehr einfach. Machen Sie sich nachstehend mit dem Gerät und dem Bedienungsfeld vertraut. Gerät schaltet automatisch nach Kochende in den Warmhaltemodus (WARM). Das Gerät schaltet nach Beendigung des Kochvorgangs IMMER in den Warmhalte Modus.
Betreiben Sie das Gerät niemals ohne den Deckel. Sorgen Sie dafür, dass der Deckel niemals verschlossen oder abgedeckt ist, da es sonst zu einem gefährlichen Überdruck in dem Gerät kommen kann. Da der Dampf, der aus dem Deckel austritt, sehr heiß ist, achten Sie darauf, keine Körperteile wie z.B. Hände und das Gesicht über den Dampfauslass des Deckels zu halten, da es durch den heißen Dampf zu Verbrühungen kommen kann.
5. Kurzanleitung In wenigen Schritten zur perfekten Zubereitung Vorbereiten der Speisen. Folgen Sie den Anweisungen, um die Speisen zuzubereiten. Achten Sie immer darauf, dass Speisen die Zubereitet werden sollen, immer frisch und von hoher Qualität sind. Stellen Sie immer sicher, dass beispielsweise Fleisch, Fisch, Meeresfrüchte und Geflügel vor der Verwendung unterhalb von 5°C gelagert worden sind. Bereiten Sie Lebensmittel immer nur auf sauberen Arbeitsflächen zu.
1 Messen Sie die Reismenge richtig ab, und waschen Sie den Reis. • • 2 • • • • • Waschen Sie den Reis, und geben Sie ihn in den Innentopf Wählen Sie die Wassermenge entsprechend der Einstellung für die gewünschte Zubereitungsart und anhand der Reismenge. Wenn Sie zu viel Wasser verwenden, kann dieses überkochen. Die Wassermenge kann je nach Wunsch um bis zu einem Viertel der Skaleneinheiten abweichen.
Anhaltswerte für Reiskochzeiten Geben Sie maximal 7 Messbecher Reis in den Topf. Der Topf hat ein Fassungsvermögen von 1,4 Litern! (bei Raumtemperatur von 20°C und Wassertemperatur 18°C) Zubereitung Weißer Reis Brauner Reis/Naturreis Dämpfen 1-5 1-5 2-3 17-25 35-50 15-30 Menge (Messbecher) Erforderliche Zeit (in Minuten) Naturreis kochen • Waschen Sie den Naturreis. Speisen Dämpfen (STEAM) Um Speisen zu dämpfen, nutzen Sie den mitgelieferten Dämpfeinsatz. Dieser ist Spülmaschinenfest. Die in der nachfolgenden Tabelle aufgeführten Zubereitungszeiten sind Anhaltswerte und sollten als Leitfaden verwendet werden. Schalten Sie das Gerät nach der Garzeit manuell aus. Drücken Sie dazu die Taste OFF an der Seite des Gerätes. Ziehen Sie nach Gebrauch den Netzstecker aus der Steckdose. 1 Geben Sie etwa 1,5 Messbecher (300 ml) Wasser in den Innentopf.

Add the correct amount of water and place the Inner Pot into main unit. • Wash rice, and put the rice into the Inner Pot. • Choose the level of water, based on the selected menu setting and the quantity of the rice being cooked. • If the water level is incorrect, excess water may boil over.
How to Cook Brown Rice / Natural Rice • Wash brown rice. For more delicious results with brown rice, soak the rice in water for an hour or more before cooking. • Brown rice can be cooked up to 4 cups. We recommend 1,5 cups of water with 1 cup of brown rice. • Fill the Inner Pot with water up to the appropriate level. • Place the Inner Pot into the main unit. • Then begin cooking by using the Cook button on the device.
