Always apply plenty of bead
lubrication to both sides of the tire.
Place the wheel flat on the ground
with the hub up. Manually push the
lower bead over the rim and into
position for mounting. Place the tip of
the large end of the mount tool
between the bead and rim,
approximately straight across from
where the bead crosses under the rim
(the straight part of the handle will be
vertical).
MOUNTING A SUPER SINGLE
Using steady, even pressure, pull
the small end of the tool toward
you and push down until the bead
has passed under the rim. Stand
the tool back up to remove it.
Repeat this procedure around the
rim.
Use the large end of the mount
tool to make a gap between the
rim and top bead. Position two
bead holders on the rim, as far
apart as possible, one on either
side of the tool.
On the side nearest you, place
the tip of the large end of the
mount tool between the bead and
rim (the straight part of the handle
will be vertical).
Pull the small end of the mount
tool toward you and push it down
until the bead has passed under
the rim. Hold the tool in place
(this may be easier by standing
on the end)…

…while you slide the nearest
bead holder beside it. Stand the
tool back up to remove it.
Repeat this procedure, as you
continue around the rim, until
the second bead is fully
mounted.
If the last section of the bead is
not seated, it may be necessary
to use the small end of the tool
to get that “last pull”.
