1= Remove the red cap from the gas pipe. Move the dryer close to its final position. 2. Using a wrench to tighten, connect the gas supply to the dryer. Use pipe joint compound on all non-flared male threads. If flexible metal tubing is used, be sure there are no kinks. NOTE: For L.R gas connections, you must use pipe joint compound resistant to the action of L.R gas. Do not use TEFLON °t tape. A combination of pipe fittings must be used to connect the dryer to the existing gas line.

Una capota de ventilaci6n debe tapar el ducto de escape para evitar el ingreso de roedores e insectos a la casa. La capota de ventilaci6n debe estar per Io menos a 12" (30,5 cm) de distancia del piso o de cualquier objeto que pudiese estar en el trayecto del ducto de escape (come flores, rocas o arbustos, etc). Si se usa un sistema de ventilaci6n existente, limpie la pelusa que esta en toda la Iongitud del sistema y asegOrese de que la capota de ventilaci6n no este obstruida con pelusa.
