PARTS AND FEATURES Telescoping Wand All included accessory tools can be inserted into either the hand vacuum or telescoping wand. You will hear a click if inserted correctly. CHARGING WARNING Before charging make sure unit is in the OFF position. This vacuum cleaner has two charging options. It can be charged on the wall mountable charging dock while the unit is hung OR the removable battery pack can be charged in the detachable battery charger base. Charging on Wall Mountable Charging Dock. The charger adapter output plug will fit into the battery charger base port only one way. Insert the charging adapter plug into the port on the side of the charging base.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS CAUTION Moving parts! To reduce the risk of personal injury, DO NOT touch the brush roll when vacuum is on. Contacting the brush roll while it is rotating can cut, bruise or cause other injuries. Always turn off before servicing. Use caution when operating near children or pets. CONTROL BUTTONS The power slider button is located above the handle of the hand vacuum. The SSV has two-speed controls, low and high.
VACUUM OPERATION There is an LED dirt sensor located on the motorized carpet nozzle. When the carpet nozzle is in use, a blue light on the top of the nozzle will illuminate to show that dirt is being vacuumed. As long as the light is on, dirt is passing across the sensor to indicate that the surface still requires cleaning. When the sensor light turns off, the sensor is not seeing enough dirt to warrant further cleaning of that area. To turn the vacuum off, slide the power switch down to the bottom.
VACUUM MAINTENANCE AND CARE CAUTION To reduce the risk of electric shock, turn power off and remove the unit from the charging dock before any maintenance. EMPTYING DUST CUP AND FILTER CLEANING For best performance, empty dust cup after every use or once dust reaches max fill line. Never operate vacuum cleaner without dust cup and filter in place. Before emptying the dust cup, ensure the vacuum is turned off. 1. Position dust cup area of vacuum over a waste receptacle.
VACUUM MAINTENANCE AND CARE The carpet nozzle roll may accumulate debris such as strings, hair and fibers. This type of debris can wrap around the brush and diminish its ability to clean effectively. The Easy-Cut blade in the carpet nozzle will cut most debris accumulation away from the brush roll. After every use, clean the carpet brush roll with the Easy-Cut system by stepping on the button for 15 seconds as illustrated while the brush roll is spinning.
TROUBLESHOOTING Review the table for solutions to minor performance problems. Any service needed, other than maintenance described in this Use & Care Guide, should be performed by a qualified service dealer. BOTONES DE CONTROL El botón deslizante de encendido está bajo la manilla de la aspiradora de mano. El SSV tiene dos controles de velocidad, alta y baja.
USO DE LA ASPIRADORA Hay un sensor LED de suciedad ubicado en la boquilla motorizada para alfombras. Cuando esté usando la boquilla para alfombra, se encenderá una luz azul en la parte superior de la boquilla para indicar que se está aspirando suciedad. Siempre que la luz esté encendida, habrá suciedad pasando por el sensor e indicando que la superficie aún requiere limpieza.

Este tipo de sedimentos puede enrollarse en el cepillo y reducir su capacidad de limpiar efectivamente. La hoja Easy-Cut de la boquilla para alfombras corta la mayoría de las acumulaciones de sedimento del rodillo del cepillo.
RESOLUCIÓN DE PROBLEMAS Revise la tabla de soluciones en relación a problemas de rendimiento menores.
