SETTING YOUR CYCLE
SELECTOR (TIMER) CONTROL
Use this control to choose the agitation
time and to start the washer.
For heaW soil and sturdy fabrics,
use the full time.
For lightsoil and delicate fabrics,
use less time.
PERMANENT PRESS
The PERMANENT PRESS Cycle
includes a load cooling process
that reduces wrinkling compared
to other cycles,
You can select up to 8 minutes of
wash time.
NOTE: When the timer reaches PAUSE,
the washer will drain and pause for no
more than two minutes while some of
the wash water is drained and replaced
with rinse water.
HEAVY DUTY
Usethis cycleto getupto 14 minutes
of washtimeforsturdy orheavily soiled
loads.
GENTLE
Use this cycle for cleaning lightly to
moderately soiled delicate items and
washable knits. The cycle features a
periodic agitation and soak.
SOAK
Use this cycle to help remove heavy soils
and stains that need pretreatment.
Use WARM water when soaking. Hot
water can set stains.
Use the amount of detergent or presoak
additive recommended by the
manufacturer.
When the SOAK cycle ends, add deter-
gent and set a new wash cycle.
NOTE: Some "HAND WASH" items,
particularly wool, naturally shrink when
washed either in the sink or in the wash-
er. Keep this in mind when you purchase
items labeled "HAND WASH." Items that
shrink should be dried flat. Block these
items by gently stretching to original mea-
surements.
