ADJUSTING THE TEMPERATURE CONTROLS
After installation, allow 24 hours for the refrigerator to reach the recommended temperature setting.
Under some conditions, you may need to adjust the controls to a colder or warmer setting than is normally recommended. Make adjustments only one
setting at a time, and wait 24 hours between adjustments.
ICE MAKER AND WATER SUPPLY (ON SOME MODELS)
To make ice, a household water supply must be connected and turned on. Refer to the Use & Care Guide.
Before initial use, flush the water system. Depress the water dispenser lever until water begins to flow, and follow the flushing directions explained in
the Use & Care Guide. As air is cleared from the system, water may spurt out of the dispenser.
Allow 24 hours for the freezer to get cold enough to begin making ice. Discard the first three batches of ice produced. Allow up to 3 days to fill the ice storage bin.
To turn the ice maker off, you must remove the ice storage bin to access the switch, which is behind the bin on the left wall of the freezer door. If you run the
refrigerator before water is connected, turn the ice maker off.
Replace the water filter every 6 months, or as indicated by the water filter status light (on some models).
INTERNAL MOISTURE
If the air in your kitchen is warm and humid, it may cause condensation on refrigerator shelves and pans or ice droplets on freezer packages and walls.
Avoid excessive door openings.
NORMAL SOUNDS
Your new refrigerator may run noticeably more than your old
one. However, it uses less energy due to its energy-efficient
