Do not remove screws located towards the center of hood. • Removefront grille ®. Set screws and grille aside. • Pull hook © to releasemounting plate. Separate mounting plate and set aside.

Wall venting or recirculating venting: Go to step 2. Roof-venting installation: Check that damper blade _) is on top of tab ® and moves freely. Insert damper assembly through cabinetopening © so that long tab @ slides under the raised edge of damper plate.Attach short tab to damper plate with bright tapping screw not used to attach damper plate. Align damper/vent connectorwith damper assembly on top of microwave hood and attach. Install vent through vent opening in upper cabinet.

Grasp aluminum filter screen by the tab @ and insert tab end of filter into cabinet opening, Slide towards the center of microwave hood. Insert other end of filter into opening and slide entire filter towards the side of the microwave hood until filter is securely in position, Repeat for other filter. Remove tape from door.
