Setting Delay Start
Delay
The Startpad controls the Delay Start feature. This feature can be set with any any Bake, Cony Bake, Cony Roast, Preheat, Slew
Cook, Cakes or Breads functions. The automatic timer of the Delay Start feature wiii turn the oven on at the time you select in
advance. This feature can be combined with Cook Time to turn the oven off after the time selected.
Note: If your clock is set for normal 12 hour display mode the Delayed Timed Baize or Delayed Timed Convection Baize cycle
can never be set to start more than 12 hours in advance.
INSTRUCTIONS PRESS DISPLAY
To program the oven for a delayed BAKE start time
and to shut off automatically (example: baking at
350°F for 30 minutes and starting at 5:30)
1. Be sure that the clock is set with the correct time of day.
2. Arrange interior oven rack(s) and place the food in the oven.
Upper
3. Press Oven,
4. Press U (Fig. 1).
5. Press _. The actual oven temperature will be displayed (Fig. 2).
Cook
6. Press Time(Fig. 3).
7. Enter the desired baking time using the number pads by pressing
3 0 (Fig. 4). Note: Baking time can be set for any amount of time
from 1 minute to 11 hours and 59 minutes.
8. Press _ (Fig. 5).
Delay
9. Press Stort (Fig. 6).
10. Enter the desired start time using the number pads 5 3 0 (Fig. 7).
11. Press _. The current time of day wiii appear in the display
(Fig. 8).
12. When the desired start time is reached, the oven icon will appear in
the display and the oven will start to baize at the previously selected
temperature.
Press _ when baking has completed or at any time to cancel the
Delayed Time Baize feature.
When the set bake time runs out:
1. "End" wiii appear in the display and the oven wiii shut off:
automatically (Fig. 9).
2. The control will beep 3 times. The control will continue to beep 3
times every 30 seconds until s_ is pressed.

_J___ Use caution with the DI:LAYI_D TIMI_ BAKi_ feature. Use the automatic timer when cooking cured or frozen
meats and most fruits and vegetables. Foods that can easily spoil such as milk, eggs, fish, meat or poultry, should be chilled
in the refrigerator first. Even when chilled, they should not stand in the oven for more than 1 hour before cooking begins_ and
should be removed promptly when cooking is completed. Eating spoiled food can result in sickness from food poisoning.
