Setting the Food Categories Features
Cakes
The _ and Breadspods may be used when cooking certain food items. These
pads have been designed to give optimum cook performance for the foods
selected in each category.
Benefits of Convection Bake:
--Muitipb rock baking.
--Some foods cook foster° saving time
and energy.
--No spechl pans or bokewore needed.
The _ pad combines o cook cycle with the convection fan and element to roast meats and poultry. Preheating is not
necessary for meats and poultry. Heated air circulates around the food from oil sides, sealing in juices and flavors. Foods
ore crisp brown on the outside while staying moist on the inside. DO NOT cover food during convection roast.
The Cakes pad provides o preheat with o gentle cycling of heat giving cokes more volume and allowing delicate foods to
COOl< more evenly.
The Breads pad adds o preheat feature to the bake cycle to thoroughly heat the oven from top to bottom to give more
evenly browned foods. Refer to Fig. 3 for foods to cool< in each category.
INSTRUCTIONS
To Set the Food Convection Roast feature at 375°F
1. Arrange oven rocks.

2. Press Oven.
2. Press _ (Fig. 1).
3. Enter the desired roasting temperature using the number pads 3 7 5.
4. Press _ [Fig. 2). The actual oven temperature and the fan icon
will be displayed.
Press _ to stop Convection Roast at any time.
Note: The Cakes or Breads features may be programmed like the
example provided above. It is recommended to follow the recipe
instructions with the food item package. The convection fan will not
turn on with Cokes or Breads key pad.

When preparing meats for convection roosting, use broiler pan and insert along with the roasting rock. The broiler pan will
catch grease spills and the insert will prevent grease splatters. The roasting rod< will allow the heat to circulate around the
meat.
_To prevent food from contacting the broil element and to prevent grease splattering, DO NOT use the
roasting rock when broiling.
1. Place oven rock on bottom or next to the bottom rock position. Heated air to circulate under the food for even cooking
and helps to increase browning on the underside. Make sure the roasting rock is securely seated on the insert in the broiler
pan. DO NOT use the broiler pan without the insert. DO NOT cover the insert with aluminum foil.
2. Position food (fat side up) on the roosting rock (Fig. 4).
3. Place the broiler pan on the oven rock.
