KENMORE TWO YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY
When installed, operated and maintained according to all supplied
instructions, if this appliance fails due to a defect in material and
workmanship within two years from the date of purchase, return it with
proof of purchase to any Sears store, Parts & Repair Service Center or other
Kenmore outlet in the United States for free repair or replacement if repair is
unavailable.
This warranty is void if this appliance is ever used for other than private
household purposes.
This warranty covers ONLY defects in material and workmanship, and will
NOT pay for:
1. Expendable items that can wear out from normal use, including but not
limited to filters, belts, light bulbs, and bags.
2. A service technician to instruct the user in correct product installation,
operation or maintenance.
3. A service technician to clean or maintain this product.
4. Damage to or failure of this product if it is not installed, operated or
maintained according to the all instructions supplied with the product.
5. Damage to or failure of this product resulting from accident, abuse,
misuse or use for other than its intended purpose.
6. Damage to or failure of this product caused by the use of detergents,
cleaners, chemicals or utensils other than those recommended in all
instructions supplied with the product.
7. Damage to or failure of parts or systems resulting from unauthorized
modifications made to this product.
This warranty applies only while this appliance is used in the United States.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other
rights which vary from state to state.

1. Turn off and unplug the air purifier.
2. Open the air inlet grill and examine the black foam pre-filter. Remove any dust or lint
and wash in warm soapy water. Rinse, air dry and place back into grill inlet.
3. Remove the used HEPA filters from the unit by pulling it gently
towards you and discard it. DO NOT attempt to clean the HEPA
filters.
4. Install the new HEPA filters into the unit.This model utilizes a hang
tab and filter clips to insure that the filters are properly in place.
Before replacing the filters, make sure that the hang tab is securely
in place. The clips can only be attached to the tabs on the filters
one way. The filter clips should easily slide onto the filter hang tab
with only a small amount of pressure. DO NOT use force while
attaching the clip to the filter. (Fig. 2)
5. Align the clips on the side of the HEPA filters with rails on the inside
of the purifier unit. Gently slide the filters onto the rail. (Fig. 3)
6. Replace air inlet grill.
7. Turn the Filter Reminder Dial to select the current month you are
replacing the new filters. This will serve as reference for when filter
replacement is needed.

1. Apague y desenchufe el purificador de aire.
2. Abra la rejilla de entrada de aire e inspeccione el prefiltro de espuma negro. Quite el
polvo o las pelusas y lávela con agua jabonosa tibia. Enjuáguela,
séquela al aire y vuelva a colocarla en la entrada de rejilla.
3. Extraiga los filtros HEPA utilizados de la unidad tirando suavemente
hacia usted y deséchelos. NO intente limpiar los filtros HEPA.
4. Instale los nuevos filtros HEPA en la unidad. Este modelo utiliza
un colgador y sujetadores de filtro para asegurar que los filtros
queden colocados en su lugar. Antes de reemplazar los filtros,
asegúrese de que el colgador esté firme en su lugar. Los sujetadores
solo pueden colocarse en los colgadores de los filtros de una
manera. Los sujetadores de filtro deben deslizarse fácilmente en el
colgador del filtro con un poco de presión. NO aplique fuerza al
colocar el sujetador en el filtro. (Fig. 2)
5. Alinee los sujetadores en el lateral de los filtros HEPA con las
ranuras en el interior de la unidad del purificador. (Fig. 3)
6. Vuelva a colocar la rejilla de la entrada de aire.
7. Gire la perilla del notificador de cambio de filtro para seleccionar el mes actual en
el que colocó los nuevos filtros. Esto servirá de referencia para saber cuándo deben
reemplazarse los filtros.
