50086 ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS Place pump (D) and light (F) into basin (A). Feed pump cord (D) and light cord (F) up through the hole on top of basin (A), make sure the pump cord (D) and light cord (F) sit in the notch of basin (A). Notch A D F Attach the rubber hose (G) to metal tube on the bottom of the fountain body (B). Place the fountain body (B) onto the basin (A), and then secure with four wing nuts (H) from inside of the basin (A).
50086 ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS Attach the pump (D) to rubber hose (G). G D Slide the light (F) into slot of the splash guard (C). Place splash guard (C) into basin (A) to cover the entry.
50086 ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS FINAL STEPS These planters are suitable for flowers, herbs and other small plants. Fill basin (A) with 5 gallons of distilled water. Connect the light connectors (E) & (F) and screw the cap tightly. Plug pump (D) and light transformer (E) into outlets and turn light on at switch. Use shims (I) to level the fountain as necessary. Note: Light does not have to be on to operate pump.
50086 ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS PUMP SAFETY & TROUBLESHOOTING To clean the pump Unplug the pump from the electrical outlet. Use a small soft brush or place it under a water stream to remove debris. To keep water clean Periodically change water to prevent algae buildup. 50086 ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS WATER FEATURE WARNINGS & TROUBLESHOOTING • Splashing may occur when the fountain is first turned on, protect surrounding surfaces as needed. Do not place the water feature on or near any surface that can be damaged by water. • Distilled water is recommended to reduce mineral deposits, bacteria build up and algae that may damage the water feature basin and pump. • To reduce the risk of electrical shock, always disconnect the power supply before working with the water feature.
