Select Auto tuning or Manual tuning.

Select a station.
When the station is tuned, "TUNED" lights up on the display. If you are re-
ceiving a stereo signal, "ST." also lights up.
Using Auto tuning
The radio automatically tunes in to the next station each time you press
the key. Repeat this step until you are tuned in to your preferred station.
Using Manual tuning
Press the key until the desired station is tuned or until you reach the de-
sired frequency.
Press the [TUNING MODE]
The mode changes as shown below each time you press the key.
Choosing from stations that are not preset (Auto/ Manual Tuning)
Press the [

] or [
J
/
H
] key.
There is no sound while Auto/Manual tuning is in progress.

Auto tuning provides stereo reception while manual tuning provides

monaural reception.
