<Synchronize>
• Radio Data System (Initial): Synchronizes the
clock time with FM RBDS.
• OFF: Sets the clock manually. Touch [
J]/[K] to
adjust the hour, then minute.
– Touching [Reset] will set the minute to “00”.

To clear the registered security code: Touch [CLR]
for <Security Code> in step 2.
Then, enter the current security code to clear and
touch [Enter].
• When the unit has been reset or disconnected from
the battery, you are required to enter the security
code. Enter the correct security code, then touch
[Enter].

1 Display the Home screen.
2 Display the <Clock> screen.
On the Home screen, touch as follows:
Then, on the <Setup> screen, touch as follows:
[System] o <Clock> : [Enter]
• You can also display the <Clock> screen by
touching the clock area on the Home screen.
Registering a security code
(Only for DDX419BT)
1 Display the Home screen.
2 Display the <Security Code Set> screen.
On the Home screen, touch as follows:
Then, on the <Setup> screen, touch as follows:
[System] o <Security Code> : [SET]
3 Enter a four-digit number (1), then
confirm the entry (
2).
• To delete the last entry, touch [Clear].
• To cancel the setting, touch [Cancel].
4 Repeat step 3 to confirm your security
code.
Now, your security code is registered.
