Troubleshooting
iPod/iPhone
No sound comes out of the speakers.
A Disconnect the iPod/iPhone, then connect it again.
A Select another source, then reselect “iPod”.
The iPod/iPhone does not turn on or does not
work.
A Check the connection.
A Update the firmware version.
A Charge the battery.
A Reset the iPod/iPhone.
Sound is distorted.
A Deactivate the equalizer either on this unit or the
iPod/iPhone.
A lot of noise is generated.
A Turn off (uncheck) “VoiceOver” on the iPod/ iPhone.

No operations are available when playing back a
track containing artwork.
A Operate the unit after the artwork has loaded.
“Authorization Error” appears.
A Check whether the connected iPod/iPhone is
compatible with this unit. (Page 69)
WebLink™/Waze
WebLink™/Waze cannot be started.
A Check whether the latest version of WebLink™ App
and/or Waze App is installed on the connected
smartphone.
A Check the connection.
A Charge the battery.
A Reset the smartphone.
A Reconnect your smartphone.
HD Radio
(Only for DDX795/DDX775BH)
AME automatic presetting does not work.
A Store stations manually. (Page 21)
Static noise while listening to the radio.
A Connect the antenna firmly.
Sound quality changes when receiving HD Radio
stations.
A Fix the reception mode either to [Digital] or
[Analog]. (Page 20)
No sound can be heard.
A The HD Radio reception mode is not appropriate.

A The Pandora application is not installed on the
connected device.
“Our content licenses limit the number of tracks
you may skip.” appears.
A No more songs can be skipped.
“The maximum number of stations has been
created. To create more, please delete one or more
previously created stations.” appears.
A The station list is full and no more stations can be
registered.
“Failed to save your thumb rating” appears.
A Thumb-up/down is prohibited.
