WARRANTY FOR MILITARY MARKET
JVC KENWOOD corporation is proud of the quality and
workmansh ip of its audio equipment. This unil has been properly
designed, tested and inspected before rt was shipped to you. If
properly insta l led and operated in accordance with instructions
furnishe d, it should g iv e yo u an optimum rel i able performance.
WARRANTY PERIOD
This product is warranted for a period of (I) year from the da te
of the original purchase.
SCOPE OF WARRANTY
Except as specified below, this warranty covers all defects in
m at eria ls and w orkmanship of the Kenwood brand products.
During the w arran ty period, any authorized K enwood Service
Center in the military market listed in the b ack of this warranty
card will provide you free-of-c har ge b oth pa rt s and labor
required to correct any defect in ma t erials or w or k manship.
T he fo ll owing are not covered by this warranty.
1. Voltage conversions.
2. P eriodiccheck-upswhichdonotdiscloseanydefectcovered
by th e w arranty.
3. Cabine t s, gr illes, other exterior finishes, belts, tape heads,
and other non -d ur able parts and accessories.
4. Units on which the seria l num ber has been effaced, modified
or remm,ed
5. Installation and/o r removal cha r ges.
6. Damaged magnetic t apes
7. House call charges for any repairs.
8. Shipping or delivery charges to or tram an authorized
Kenwood Service Center.
9. This w arrant y will not coveranyfailurelhat is due to any of lhe
I oll owing con dit ion s in accordance wi th the visual inspection
of the aul horized Kenwo od Service Center:
• I mproper maintenance or r epai r, incl u ding the inst a lla t ion of
parts or accesso r ies that do not conform to t he q uality and
specifications of the orig i nal parts.
• M isuse, abuse, neglect, unau t horized product modification
or fai l ure to follo w ins t ruc t ions contained in the Ow ner's
M anual
• Accidental or inte n tional d amages.
• R epai rs or atte mp t ed r epairs by an unauthorized agency.
(All rep a irs m ust be p erformed at an au t horized Kenwood
Service Ce nt er.)
• Dam ag es or deteriora t ions ca u sed d urin g ship men t (Claims
must be presented to the ca r rier).
• Damages or deteriorations resulting from re moval and/
or replacemen t.

As the p urchased of a new Kenwood brand p roduct, you are
request ed to do the following in order to obtain Kenwood
wa rra n ty service.
1. R etai n yoursaless lip or ot he r evi d ence of purchase for proving
you r eligibility f or re q uestin g K en w ood war ranty service.
2. M ake your unit available to an aut ho r ize d K enwood Service
Cen t er in the mili t ary ma r ket for i nspectio n an d ap p ro v ed
warranty service, or ship your unit in its ori g inal ear l on b ox
or eq ui v alent, fully insured and shipping charges prepa i d.
to t he authorized K enwood Service Center.

LIMITATION OF IMPLIED
WARRANTIES
Any and all implied warranties, including warranties of
merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, shall be
limited in duration to the length of this warranty.
EXCLUSION OF CERTAIN DAMAGES
KENWOOO's liability for any defeclive product is limiled lo
the repair or replacement of said product, at our potion, and
shall not include damages of any kind, whether inciden t al,
consequential or otherwise, expect to the extent proh i bi t ed
by applicable law.
