Basic use method
Each press of the TIME DISPLAY key changes the
displayed contents.
Time display on MD recorder
÷ Only time information 1 and 2 can be displayed dur-
ing single-track repeated playback or random playback.
÷ In the program mode, display 3 shows the elapsed
time of the entire program and display 4 shows the
remaining time of the entire program.
÷ When the displayed time is 1000 minutes or more,
the display shows "

-
-
".

("TOTAL" lights up)
4 Remaining time on entire disc
("TOTAL" lights up)
When a title is too long to be accommodated in
the display, press the DISPLAY key to scroll the
displayed title so that the previously hidden char-
acters be viewed.

÷ When no track name (track title) and no disc name (disc title) has been recorded, " NO TITLE " is displayed.
÷ "BLANK DISC" is displayed when not even one track has been recorded. (When there is a disc title, the disc title will
be displayed.)

(The display returns to condition 1 after
scrolling.)
3 Pressing the key during scrolled title dis-
play 2 displays the remaining recording
time of the MD.
(The display returns to condition 1 in 5 sec-
onds.)
