WARRANTY PERIOD
This produ~ is wan anted for a period ol(1) year !rom th e dale

SCOPE OF WARRANTY
Except as specified below. this warranty covers all de f ec ts in
materials and workmanship of the Kenwood brand pr od u ct s.
During the wananty period, any authorized Kenwood Serv<:e
Center in the military market listed in the back of this wa rr anty
card will provide you tree - of - charge both pans and la bor
required to correct any defect in materials or workmansh ip.
The lollowing are not covered by this warranty.
1. Voltage conversions.
2. Periodic check -ups which do not disclose any delec t co ve r ed
by the wananty .
3. Cabinets . grilles, other exterior finishes. belts, tape head s,
and other non-durable parts and accessories
4. Units on whidllhe serial number has been effaced , mod i fied
orrernoved.
5. Installation and/ol removal cha rges.
6. Damaged ma g netic tapes .
7. House call charges for any repairs.

parts or accessories that do not conform to the quali ty and
specifications of lhe original parts .

Misuse, abuse. neglect. un a uthorized produ ct modificati on
or failure to follow i nstruction s contained in the Owne r' s
Manual
• Accidental or intentional damages
* Repairs or attempted repairs by an unauthorized agen cy
(All repairs rn..~st be performed at an authorized KBflwood
Service Center.)
*Damages or deteriorations caused during shipment (C l aims
must be presented to the carrier)
• Damages or deteriorations resulting from remo v al a nd /
or replacemefll
PURCHASER'S RESPONSIBILITIES
As the purchased of a new Kenwood brand product, you ar e
requested to do the following in ord er to obtain Kenw ood
warranty service.
1. Retain )'Off! sales~ip or other evidence of purchase lor prov ing
your eligibility lor requesting Kenwood warranty seJV i ce
2. Make your unit available to an authorized Kenwood Service
Center in U-e mi litary market for inspection and ap pro ved
warranty service, or ship your unit in its original cart on box
or equiva l ent , fully insured and shipping charges pr epa id ,
to lhe authorized Kenwood Service Center.

WARRANTIES
Any and all implied wa nan li es , including warranties of
merchantability and fitness for a p articular purpose, shall be
limited in duration to the len gth of this warranty.
EXCLUSION OF CERTAIN DAMAGES
KENWOOD's liability f (l( any de f ective product is limited to
the repair or replacement of said product. at our potion, and
shall not include damages ol any kind, whether incidental .
consequential or otherwise, expect to the extent prohibile<l
by applicable law.
