• Donotplacetheunitinexcessivelydustyand/orhumidareas,noronunstablesurfaces.
• Ifyoudetectanabnormalodororsmokecomingfromtheunit,disconnectthepower
fromtheunitimmediately.ContactyourKENWOODservicecenterordealer.
• Donotattempttocongurethetransceiverwhiledriving;itistoodangerous.
• DonotuseoptionsnotspeciedbyKENWOOD.
• Forpassengersafety,installtheunitsecurelyusingthesuppliedmountingbracketand
screwsetsotheunitwillnotbreaklooseintheeventofacollision.
• Alwaysturnoffthepowerbeforeinstallingoptionalaccessories.
• WhenusingtheKCH-20R,refertothe“NOTICESTOTHEUSER”and
“PRECAUTIONS”intheUSERGUIDEofMobileTransceiverofNX-5000series.If
thewarnings(
)arenotobserved,theremaybethepossibilitytohaveany
malfunction.Inthiscase,pressandholdthePowerSwitchfor5secondsormore.Ifthe
malfunctionpersists,askyourdealer.
