Calling Alert
Calling alert tones help identify yourself to party members
andinformthemthatyouarecalling.Yourdealercanset
upyourtransceiverwith1of10callingalerttones.Ifeach
party member uses a different tone, it is easy to know who
iscalling.Tomakeacall,pressandholdthePTT switch,
thenpressthekeyprogrammedasCallingAlert.
• Releasethekeytoendthetone.

Key Lock
Pressandholdthiskeyfor2secondtolock/unlockthe
transceiver keys.
Thefollowingkeys/functionscanstillbeusedwhenKey
Lockisactive:
Key Lock, Monitor, Monitor Momentary, PTT,
Squelch Off, Squelch Off Momentary, and Volume.

Monitor
Ondigitalmode,momentarilypressthiskeytodeactivate
CommonIDsignaling.Pressthekeyagaintoreturnto
normaloperation.SquelchwillopenwithanydPMR446
signals received regardless of the Common ID setting.
Onanalogmode,momentarilypressthiskeytodeactivate
QTorDQTsignaling.Pressthekeyagaintoreturnto
normal operation.
