F9 Effects: When enabled (On), the effects will be applied to the microphone input, whereas when set to Dry no Reverb effect is sent
to the microphone input. If Dry On Stop is selected, the effects will be applied on the microphone signal only when the
Arranger or a Midi file is being played. After the Arranger and the Midi file have stopped playing, the XD9 disables the
effects on the microphone and re-enables them as soon as the Arranger or the Midi file starts playing again. Dry On
Stop solves an important problem the musician has to cope with: the need to exclude the effects from the microphone
signal when he talks to the public (e.g. when introducing the next song).
F10 Active/Inactive: This enables or disables the microphone inputs. If they are connected but not being used, it is a good rule to disable the
inputs to avoid disturbing noises.
