Restart both the CV-X Series and the YASKAWA MP Series.
If "Initializing PLC- Link..." appears on the lower left of the screen and
disappears immediately, it indicates that the link has been established
successfully.
If the link establishment has failed, the message "Initializing PLC- Link...
*" appears repeatedly, and the error message "Failed to establish a link
with the PLC" appears.
Check the settings of the CV‐X and YASKAWA MP Series again.
* Start the YASKAWA MP Series first, and then start the CV‐X Series.

Use the screen below as a reference to set the communication settings.

Send the settings to PLC using [Online] > [Write into Controller] in MPE720.

About the RS‐232C cable that is used to connect
the CV‐X Series and the MP Series.
Alter OP‐26487 (2.5 m straight cable) and connect it to
the commercially available D‐sub 9 pin male connector
as shown in the figure below.
