Select a combination of scanning width an pitch from

the table shown below

The procedure used to set the width/interval is

explained as follows.

Select [SCAN] from [BASIC] on the program

mode screen.

The scan setting screen appears.

Select [WIDTH/INTERVAL].

Select the scanning width and the pitch by

using the [

] and [

▼

] buttons.

Press the [ENTER] button.

The width/interval is fixed.

250/10 Pitch (Interval): 2/5/10 μm

WIDTH/INTERVAL

Set the range to be measured as scanning width. Set

the pitch used to measure as [INTERVAL]. Set the

pitch in balance with the shape of the measurement

target.

• The smaller the pitch becomes, the more time that

is needed for measuring; however, the

measurement results become sharper. Considering

the stability required, set the scanning width and

pitch.
