Trigger Input Settings
This sets the measurement method, input polarity and the input time constant for the N-410
trigger input signal.
 Measurement method
• Level synchronization
Data is read while the trigger input is on.
• One-shot synchronization
Once trigger input has been detected, data is read for a specified time (100 to 2500 ms).
 Input polarity
Select the polarity of the trigger input.
• Norm. open
• Norm. close
 Input time constant
Select one of the following two input time constants.
•2 ms
• 10 ms
 Trigger input on/off command
Set the commands for command control of read operations (trigger input ON/OFF). This can be set to
any string of up to eight characters. However, it is recommended that you use the default
settings. The default settings are as follows.
• Trigger input on command: LON
• Trigger input off command: LOFF
