• Moon Schedule Setup
Prior dening the moon schedule,
make sure the channel you want to
associate it with is Enabled.
In Schedule, click Sengs and double-
click the me slot to set the schedule.
Start me/End me: Enter the Start
me and End me informaon when
the moon detecon begins and ends.
To add addional schedule, click Add.
To disable moon detecon at the
scheduled me, check the desired
schedule box that you want to delete
and click Delete.
Copy/To: Copy the current sengs to other days. Click the arrow to select an opon and then click Copy.
Click OK to save the sengs.

About Moon Detecon
In general, the moon detecon can be used with almost all stac and wired cameras. However, PTZ systems are
incompable with moon detecon, avoid allowing moon detecon on a channel which has a PTZ system connected
to it.
False Triggers
It is very important to set the moon detecon on a suitable sensivity level. If you set the moon detecon at a high
sensivity levels (4 or lower) then the frequency of false alarm events increases. Vice versa if the sensivity level is too
low (20 or higher), you might increase the risk that an important moon event will not trigger the moon detecon to
record. Therefore during the DVR system conguraon, it is advised to check the moon detecon in normal and low
light condions (during the day and night).
Also, false triggers may be caused by severe weather condions, for example lightening and heavy rain. To minimize
the false triggers, do the following:
• Adjust the Image Sengs to congure the brightness and contrast, see “Color Sengs” on page 35.
• Make limitaons to the moon sensive areas, selecng only the area where the target would most probably be.
Hence, turn o the moon sensivity to any area a target cannot move.
In Trigger, click Sengs to congure
the acons to be taken when moon
is detected.
Record: Check the box to select the
channel(s) to record when the moon
is detected.
Snapshot: Check the box to select the
channel(s) to take a snapshot when
the moon is detected.
Send E-MAIL: Check to enable e-mail
alarm nocaon. If the funcon is
enabled, the system will send the
alarm messages / snapshots (snapshot
opon must be enabled rst) to the
specied e-mail address.
