Cloud
At present, your DVR supports the
Dropbox cloud storage. Before seng
up the cloud storage on the DVR,
make sure your Dropbox account has
been created and acve (Dropbox
website: www.dropbox.com) and
the network sengs of your DVR has
been congured properly.
Enable: Check the box to enable the
cloud storage funcon.
Interval: Select the interval me
between uploading snapshots to the
cloud storage.
Note:
To 1 minute interval opon you can
choose only 4 channels.
Moon detecon: Select Enable if you want the DVR to upload snapshots when moon is detected.
CH: Check the respecve channel box to upload the channel snapshots.
Receiver: Enter your e-mail account to receive the cloud storage acvaon link.
Server switch: Select Default and click Acve Cloud directly.
Note:
If the Server switch seng is set to Customer, you need to complete the following sengs before clicking Acve
Cloud:
Mail server(SMTP): Enter the SMTP Server of the sending e-mail server. If you do not know the SMTP mail server
address, please consult with the e-mail service provider or check the informaon on their web page.
Port: Enter the SMTP port of the sending e-mail server
Connecon security: If your e-mail server needs the SSL or TLS vericaon, select SSL/TLS. Check with your e-mail
service provider for the applicable seng.
User name: Enter the e-mail address of the sender.
Password: Enter the password of the sender’s e-mail.
Acve Cloud: Click to acvate the funcon. An acvaon e-mail will be sent to the Receiver e-mail account.
Note:
• An e-mail will be sent to the Receiver e-mail account aer clicking AcveCloud. You must check your e-mail
and follow the link to complete cloud storage acvaon within 3 minutes.
• A “QR code” also appears on the screen aer clicking Acve Cloud. Using your smart phone/pad, simply
scan the QR code and conrm the link to acvate the Dropbox cloud storage. (Prior scanning the QR code
with the smart phone/pad, you need to download the Kview QR applicaon).
• Every me the cloud storage account is changed or HDD is formaed, you must acvate the account again to
recognize the changes.
Aer all sengs are complete, click Apply.
