PTZ Setup
Here you can congure the DVR to
be able to operate PTZ devices. PTZ
stands for Pan, Tilt & Zoom.
The DVR is compable with many -
but not all - PTZ devices available. For
more informaon, please consult the
vendor.
Customize the PTZ camera sengs
aer the PTZ speed dome is properly
installed via RS-485 connecon.
Enable: Check the channel box which
the PTZ camera is connected to.
Protocol: A protocol is like a common language that the DVR uses to communicate to the PTZ device. Make sure this
seng matches the requirements of your device.
Baud rate: Check the PTZ camera documentaon to get to know this parameter.
Address: Specify the command address of the PTZ camera that you want to associate with the selected channel.
Copy CH/To CH: Copy the current sengs to all channels or one specic channel. Click the arrow to select an opon
and then click Copy.
Aer all sengs are complete, click Apply.
Note:
Do not use moon detecon funcon on the PTZ camera to avoid wrong ‘moon’ interpretaon.
Search
Record Search
The Record Search allows you to search the recordings saved on the storage. The search can be performed based
on start me, end me, record type and channel. All recordings that match the search criteria are displayed on the
screen.

Select channel
Select video type
Select the box of
the les that you
want to backup/
lock/unlock.
