Installation Guide

1) TURN OFF POWER.
IMPORTANT: Before you start, NEVER attempt any work without
shutting off the electricity until the work is done.
a) Go to the main fuse, or circuit breaker, box in your home. Place the main
power switch in the “OFF” position.
b) Unscrew the fuse(s), or switch “OFF” the circuit breaker switch(s), that
  controlthepowertothextureorroomthatyouareworkingon.
 c) Placethewallswitchinthe“OFF”position.Ifthexturetobereplacedhas
a switch or pull chain, place those in the “OFF” position.
2) Assemble mounting screws into threaded holes in mounting strap.
3) Attach mounting strap to outlet box. (Screws not provided)
4) Grounding instructions: (See Illus. A or B).
 A) Onxtureswheremountingstrapisprovidedwithaholeandtwo
raise dimples. Wrap ground wire from outlet box around green
ground screw, and thread screw into hole.
 B) Onxtureswherecuppedwasherisprovided.Putgroundwire
from outlet box between cupped washer and green ground screw
and thread screw into hole in mounting strap.
 Ifxtureisprovidedwithgroundwire,Connectxturegroundwireto
outlet box ground wire with wire connector. (Not provided.), after
following the above steps. Never connect ground wire to white or black
power supply wires.
5) Make wire connections (connectors not provided.) Reference chart below
for correct connections and wire accordingly.
6) Pushxturetowall,carefullypassingmountingscrewsthroughholes.
7) Tightenxturetowallusingthreadedballs.
8) Insert recommended bulb.
9) Raisecagewithglassuptoxture.
10)Passthreadedstudsonxturethroughholesonedgeofcage.
11) Screw ball knobs onto threaded studs.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR MOUNTING FIXTURE OUTDOORS AND/OR
IN WET LOCATIONS.
12)Mountingsurfaceshouldbeclean,dry,atand1/4”largerthatthe
canopy on all sides. Any gaps between the mounting surface and
 canopyexceeding3/16”shouldbecorrectedasrequired.
13) With silicone caulking compound, caulk completely around where back
of canopy meets the wall surface to prevent water from seeping into
outlet box.

  elartefactoohabitacióndondeestátrabajando.
 c) Coloqueelinterruptordeparedenposicióndeapagado“OFF”.Siel
  artefactoquesevaareemplazartieneuninterruptorocadenaquesejala,
  colóquelosenlaposicióndeapagado“OFF”.
2) Enrosquelostornillosparamontajeenlosagujerosroscadosdela
plancha para montar.
3) Sujetelaplanchaparamontaralacajadeconexión.(Noseproveen
los tornillos.)
4) Instruccionesdepuestaatierra:(VealailustraciónAoB)
 A) Enlosartefactosdondeseproporcionalaabrazaderademontaje
  conunagujeroydosdepresioneselevadas.Envuelvaelalambre
  atierradelacajadesalidaalrededordeltornilloatierraverdey
  rosqueeltornilloenelagujero.
 B) Enlosartefactordondeseproporcionaunaarandelacóncava.
  Pongaelalambreatierradelacajadesalidaentrelaarandela
  cóncavayeltornilloatierraverdeyrosqueeltornilloenel 
  agujero,agujero,enlaabrazaderademontaje.
Si se proporciona el artefacto con alambre a tierra, conecte el alambre
 atierradelartefactoalalambreatierradelacajadesalida,conel
conector de alambre (no proporcionado), después de seguir los pasos
de arriba. Nunca conecte el alambre a tierra a los alambres blanco o
 negrodelaalimentacióneléctrica.
5) Hacer las conexiones de los alambres (conectores no incluidos.) Ver el
 cuadromásabajoparalasconexionescorrectasyalambrardeacuerdo
a esto.
6) Empujelaunidadcontralapared,pasandoconcuidadoeltuboroscado
 atravésdelagujero.
7) Sujetelaunidadcontralaparedapretándolaconlataparoscada.
8) Inserte la bombilla recomendada.
9) Levantelacajaconelvidriohastaelartefacto.
10)Paselosespárragosroscadosenelartefactoatravésdelosagujeros
 enelbordelajaula.
11) Atornillelasperillasredondasalosespárragosroscados.

13)Calafateetotalmenteconcompuestodecalafateardesiliconaalrededor
 dondeelescudetesientaenlasuperciedelaparedparaimpedirla
 entradadeaguaenlacajadeconexiones
