CAUTION – RISK OF SHOCK –
Disconnect Power at the main circuit breaker panel or main
fusebox before starting and during the installation.
1) Passxturewirethroughdesiredamountofstems[1]and
screwstemstogetherusingsuppliedshortthreadedtubes[2].
2) Passxturewirefromthecouplingontopofxturethrough
endofstem[2].Threadendofstemontoxturebody.NOTE:
Threadlockingcompoundmustbeappliedtoallstemthreads
asnotedwitharrowsymboltopreventaccidentalrotationof
xtureduringcleaning,relamping,etc.
3) Passxturewirethroughdesiredstemsandscrewstems
together
4) Threadonesmallthreadedpipe[12]intoendofloop[13].
5) Passxturewirethroughloop.Threadloopontoendoflast
stem.
6) Takeathreadedpipe[7]frompartsbagandscrewinscrew
collarloop[10]aminimumof6mm(1/4”).Lockintoplacewith
hexnut[8].
7) Runanotherhexnutdownthreadedpipealmosttouching
rsthexnut.Nowscrewthreadedpipeintomountingstrap[3].
Mountingstrapmustbepositionedwithextrudedthreadfaced
intooutletbox[6].Threadedpipemustprotrudeoutthebackof
mountingstrap.Screwthirdhexnutontoendofthreadedpipe
protrudingfrombackofmountingstrap.
8) Connectmountingstraptooutletboxusingstrapmounting
screws[5].
9) Unscrewthethreadedringfromscrewcollarloop[10].Take
canopy[4]andpassoverscrewcollarloop.Approximately
onehalfofthescrewcollarloopexteriorthreadsshouldbe
exposed.Adjustscrewcollarloopbyturningassemblyupor
downinmountingstrap.Removecanopy.
10)Afterdesiredpositionisfound,tightenbothtopandbottom
hexnutsupagainstthebottomandtopofthemountingstrap.
11)Slipcanopyoverscrewcollarloopandthreadonthreadedring.
Attachchain[11](withxtureconnected)tobottomofscrew
collarloop.Unscrewthreadedring[9],letcanopyandthreaded
ringslipdown.(Closechainlinkendstogetherusingchainpli-
ersorpaddedplierstopreventdamagetonish.)
12)Weaveelectricalwireandgroundwirethroughchainlinks[11]
nomorethan3inchesapart.Passwirethroughthreadedring,
canopy,screwcollarloop,threadedpipeandintooutletbox.
13)Groundinginstructions:(SeeIllus.AorB).
 A) Onxtureswheremountingstrapisprovidedwitha 
holeandtworaiseddimples.Wrapgroundwirefrom 
outletboxaroundgreengroundscrew,andthreadinto 
hole.
 B) Onxtureswhereacuppedwasherisprovided.Attach
groundwirefromoutletboxundercuppedwasherand
greengroundscrew,andthreadintomountingstrap.
 Ifxtureisprovidedwithgroundwire.Connectxtureground
wiretooutletboxgroundwirewithwireconnectorafterfollow-
ingtheabovesteps.Neverconnectgroundwiretoblackor
whitepowersupplywires.
