CAUTION – RISK OF SHOCK –
Disconnect Power at the main circuit breaker panel or main fusebox before
starng and during the installaon.
WARNING:
This xture is intended for installaon in accordance with the Naonal Electrical
Code (NEC) and all local code specicaons. If you are not familiar with code
requirements, installaon by a cered electrician is recommended.
DIMMING:
This LED xture is compable with most standard incandescent dimmers, LED
dimmers, and electronic low voltage dimmers.
For opmal performance, an electronic low voltage dimmer should be used.
CLEANING:
• Always be certain that electric current is turned o before cleaning.
• Only a so damp cloth should be used. Harsh cleaning products may damage
the nish.
Installaon Instrucons
1) Aach arm[F] to lower ring[O] by aaching open chain link[P] to loop on
lower ring and to loop on end of arm. Close open chain link by placing a piece
of cloth over the open link and using a pair of pliers to gently squeeze the link
closed.
2) Screw knob[Q] into other end of arm inside center hub[R] and ghten to
secure arm in center hub.
3) Repeat for remaining arms.
4) Pass xture wires from center hub[R] through center hole of plate[N] and
slip plate over threads protruding from the top of the center hub.
5) Pass xture wires through coupling[L] and screw coupling onto threads
protruding through plate. Tighten to secure plate.
6) Pass xture wires from coupling[L] through desired number of stems[A] and
short threaded tubes[B]. Screw stems together using short threaded tubes.
NOTE: Thread locking compound must be applied to all stem threads as
noted with (4) symbol to prevent accidental rotaon of xture during
cleaning, relamping, etc.
7) Screw connected stems into coupling[L].
8) Pass xture wires from last stem through swivel[C] and into canopy[D].
9) Screw lower end of swivel into end of last stem.
Note direcon of swivel in accordance with ceiling.
10) Cut xture wires a MINIMUM of 6” from top edge of canopy.
NOTE: If the black and white driver lead wires must be trimmed, cut the wires
a MINIMUM of 6” from the top edge of canopy.
11) Connect the colored wires from the LED driver[E] to the wires from xture:
RED(+) from the LED driver to RED(+) from the xture and YELLOW(-) from the
LED driver to YELLOW(-) from the xture. Use smaller wire nuts (provided) to
secure wire connecons.
12) Find the appropriate threaded holes on mounng strap[G] that align with
hole distance in canopy[D]. Assemble mounng screws[H] into threaded
holes.
13) Aach mounng strap to outlet box[I] using the strap mounng screws[M].
Mounng strap can be adjusted to suit posion of xture.
14) Grounding instrucons: (See Illus. a or b).
a) On xtures where mounng strap is provided with a hole and two raised
dimples, wrap ground wire from outlet box around green ground screw,
and thread into hole.
b) On xtures where a cupped washer is provided, aach ground wire from
outlet box under cupped washer and green ground screw, then thread
into mounng strap.
If xture is provided with ground wire, connect xture ground wire to outlet
box ground wire with wire connector aer following the above steps. Never
connect ground wire to black or white power supply wires.
15) Make wire connecon. Reference chart below for correct connecons and
wire accordingly.

16) Push xture to ceiling, carefully passing mounng screws through holes in
canopy.
NOTE: Be certain wires do not get pinched between mounng strap and
canopy, or canopy and ceiling.
17) Use knobs[J] and lockwashers[K] to secure canopy. Tighten to secure.
