CAUTION – RISK OF SHOCK –
Disconnect Power at the main circuit breaker panel or main fusebox before
starng and during the installaon.
WARNING:
This xture is intended for installaon in accordance with the Naonal Electrical
Code (NEC) and all local code specicaons. If you are not familiar with code
requirements, installaon by a cered electrician is recommended.
DIMMING:
This LED xture is compable with most standard incandescent dimmers, LED
dimmers, and electronic low voltage dimmers.
For opmal performance, an electronic low voltage dimmer should be used.
CLEANING:
• Always be certain that electric current is turned o before cleaning.
• Only a so damp cloth should be used. Harsh cleaning products may damage
the nish.
Installaon Instrucons
1) Aach arm[F] to lower ring[O] by aaching open chain link[P] to loop on
lower ring and to loop on end of arm. Close open chain link by placing a piece
of cloth over the open link and using a pair of pliers to gently squeeze the link
closed.
2) Screw knob[Q] into other end of arm inside center hub[R] and ghten to
secure arm in center hub.
3) Repeat for remaining arms.
4) Pass xture wires from center hub[R] through center hole of plate[N] and
slip plate over threads protruding from the top of the center hub.
5) Pass xture wires through coupling[L] and screw coupling onto threads
protruding through plate. Tighten to secure plate.
6) Pass xture wires from coupling[L] through desired number of stems[A] and
short threaded tubes[B]. Screw stems together using short threaded tubes.
NOTE: Thread locking compound must be applied to all stem threads as
noted with (4) symbol to prevent accidental rotaon of xture during
cleaning, relamping, etc.
7) Screw connected stems into coupling[L].
8) Pass xture wires from last stem through swivel[C] and into canopy[D].
9) Screw lower end of swivel into end of last stem.
Note direcon of swivel in accordance with ceiling.
10) Cut xture wires a MINIMUM of 6” from top edge of canopy.
NOTE: If the black and white driver lead wires must be trimmed, cut the wires
a MINIMUM of 6” from the top edge of canopy.
11) Connect the colored wires from the LED driver[E] to the wires from xture:
RED(+) from the LED driver to RED(+) from the xture and YELLOW(-) from the
LED driver to YELLOW(-) from the xture. Use smaller wire nuts (provided) to
secure wire connecons.
12) Find the appropriate threaded holes on mounng strap[G] that align with
hole distance in canopy[D]. Assemble mounng screws[H] into threaded
holes.
13) Aach mounng strap to outlet box[I] using the strap mounng screws[M].
Mounng strap can be adjusted to suit posion of xture.
14) Grounding instrucons: (See Illus. a or b).
a) On xtures where mounng strap is provided with a hole and two raised
dimples, wrap ground wire from outlet box around green ground screw,
and thread into hole.
b) On xtures where a cupped washer is provided, aach ground wire from
outlet box under cupped washer and green ground screw, then thread
into mounng strap.
If xture is provided with ground wire, connect xture ground wire to outlet
box ground wire with wire connector aer following the above steps. Never
connect ground wire to black or white power supply wires.
15) Make wire connecon. Reference chart below for correct connecons and
wire accordingly.

16) Push xture to ceiling, carefully passing mounng screws through holes in
canopy.
NOTE: Be certain wires do not get pinched between mounng strap and
canopy, or canopy and ceiling.
17) Use knobs[J] and lockwashers[K] to secure canopy. Tighten to secure.
