Limited Warranty on Kichler
®
Tape Lighting
Kichler Lighting LLC (“Kichler Lighting”) warrants the following catalogued tape lighting
component parts and accessories to the original consumer purchaser or commercial purchaser,
as applicable, to be free from defects in material and workmanship for the applicable period
specified below.
LED Light Engines and Electrical Components of 24 Volt Tape Lighting and Hard Strip
Products
Five (5) years from the date of purchase when the product is installed in a single family
residence by the original consumer purchaser. For commercial purchasers, three (3) years from
the date of purchase.
For 8T 24V tape lighting products, five (5) years from the date of purchase when the product is
installed in a single family residence by the original consumer purchaser and for commercial
purchasers.
For 6D 24V puck lights, three (3) years from the date of purchase when the product is installed
in a single family residence by the original consumer purchaser. For commercial purchasers,
one (1) year from the date of purchase.
LED Light Engines and Electrical Components of 12 Volt Tape Lighting Products
Three (3) years from the date of purchase when the product is installed in a single family
residence by the original consumer purchaser. For commercial purchasers, one (1) year from
the date of purchase.
For 4DD and 6DD 12V tape lighting products, five (5) years from the date of purchase when the
product is installed in a single family residence by the original consumer purchaser and for
commercial pruchasers.
24 and 12 Volt Electronic Power Supplies and Magnetic Transformers
Five (5) years from the date of purchase when the product is installed in a single family
residence by the original consumer purchaser. For commercial purchasers, three (3) years from
the date of purchase.
Tape Light Accessories
One (1) year from the date of purchase when the product is installed in a single family residence
by the original consumer purchaser. This warranty includes but is not limited to connectors,
track and channel accessories. This warranty does not extend to commercial purchasers.
Special Order (non-catalogued) Tape Lighting Products
One (1) year from the date of purchase.
What We Will Do
Kichler Lighting, at its sole discretion, will repair or replace, free of charge, during the applicable
warranty period, any product or component part (as described above) that proves defective in
material and/or workmanship under normal installation, use and service. If repair or replacement
is not practical, Kichler Lighting may elect to refund the purchase price in exchange for the
return of the product. Replacement parts are subject to availability and may differ from those
originally supplied. These are your exclusive remedies.
