CAUTION – RISK OF SHOCK –
Disconnect Power at the main circuit breaker panel or main fusebox before starng and
during the installaon.
WARNING:
This xture is intended for installaon in accordance with the Naonal Electrical Code
(NEC) and all local code specicaons. If you are not familiar with code requirements,
installaon by a cered electrician is recommended.
Supply wires are not intended for use through or concealed behind walls, oors, or

CLEANING:
• Always be certain that electric current is turned o before cleaning.
• Only a so damp cloth should be used. Harsh cleaning
products may damage the nish.
1) Read and understand all instrucons and illustraons completely before proceeding
with assembly and installaon of xture.
2) If you have any doubts about how to install this xture, or if the xture fails to
operate completely, please contact a qualied electrician.
3) All parts must be used as indicated in the instrucons. Do not substute any parts,
leave parts out, or use any parts that are worn or broken. Failure to obey this
instrucon could invalidate the UL lisng, C.S.A. cercaon, and/or ETL lisng of this
xture.
4) Fixture is to be connected to a single branch circuit.
This device complies with part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operaon is subject to the following two condions:
1) This device may not cause harmful interference, and
2) This device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operaon.
Note: This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital device, pursuant to part 15 of the
FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protecon against harmful interference in a residenal installaon.
This equipment generates, uses and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the
instrucons, may cause harmful interference to radio communicaons. However, there is no guarantee that interference will
not occur in a parcular installaon. If this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or television recepon, which
can be determined by turning the equipment o and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or

2) Open juncon box cover[F] and remove preferred juncon box knockout using a
at-head screwdriver.
3) Pass Romex supply cable through included strain relief connector[G] and into
juncon box through knockout hole. Secure in place using strain relief connector.
4) Connect ground wire from Romex supply cable to green xture ground wire using
included push-in wire connector[H].
5) Make the remaining wire connecons using included push-in wire connectors.

6) Aer wire connecons are made, place all wires inside juncon box and close cover,
being careful not to pinch any of the wires between the juncon box and cover.
7) Raise juncon box through installaon hole and into the ceiling.
NOTE: If installing to new construcon, mount juncon box to a nearby joist, stud,
or similar xed structural unit with the included mounng screws.
For remodeling applicaons, juncon box may rest on top of ceiling material. This
xture and juncon box are Type IC rated and suitable for use in direct contact with
insulaon.
8) Reconnect xture cable connector to juncon box cable connector, lining up arrows
on the connectors while pressing them together. Secure connecon by screwing on
quick screw lock connector.
9) Carefully push spring clips[I] upward while raising xture to the installaon hole.
10) Slowly release spring clips as xture enters installaon hole so that spring clips begin
to make contact with top edge of ceiling material. Be careful not to pinch ngers
between spring clips and xture, or xture and ceiling while installing. Spring clips
will pull xture up the rest of the way to ceiling, mounng the xture in place.
NOTE: Ensure that spring clips have pulled the xture ush to the ceiling.
