4. FIRST AID MEASURES
First aid measures
Eye Contact
If symptoms persist, call a physician. Rinse thoroughly with plenty of water, also
under the eyelids.
Skin Contact
In case of contact with liquefied gas, thaw frosted parts with lukewarm water.
Wash off immediately with soap and plenty of water. If symptoms persist, call a
physician.
Inhalation
Remove to fresh air. If breathing is difficult, (trained personnel should) give
oxygen. If not breathing, give artificial respiration.
Ingestion
Drink plenty of water. If symptoms persist, call a physician. Do NOT induce
vomiting.
Self-protection of the first aider
Ensure that medical personnel are aware of the material(s) involved, take
precautions to protect themselves and prevent spread of contamination.
