SPECIFICATIONS FOR KIDSTUFF PLAYSYSTEMS COMPONENTS
Ages 5-12 Playsystem, 3 1/2" OD Posts, Steel Decks
RING TREK: Top beam is 2.38" OD tubing, 10 ga. "S"-hooks attach to a pair of 4/0
galv. chain links, secured to beam by clevis through oil-impregnated bronze
bushing. Rings of cast, highly-polished aluminum attach to “S”-hooks. Attaches at
each end to 3 1/2" posts whether used as a connecting or freestanding event, or
with one end to playstructure. Ladder is 118" long.
POST CAP FOR 3-1/2" OD POST: Shatter-proof caps are injection-molded of
polypropylene. Unique "one-way" design provides a tight fit while preventing removal.
ZIG ZAG WALL: Computer-generated, bi-color, UV-stabilized HDPE plastic panels,
3/4" thick are attached with 3/16” steel flanges to 3 1/2” OD posts. Upper panels
provides handholds as children as they use footholds in lower panels to traverse
across from post to post. Adjacent pairs of panels allow children to add elevation as
they move horizontally. Multiple panels may used to span a distance of any length.
Use as a connector, with one end to deck, or completely freestanding.
ADA TRANSITION STEPS: Deck-to-deck steps 14” deep, 24” wide, and 8” high,
compliant with ADA. Steps are fabricated of 12 ga. punched steel, dipped in
“plastisol” after fabrication. Barrier rails on each side of steps are 38” high with a
1.31” OD handrails and UV-stabilized HDPE enclosure panels.
CHINNING OR TURNING BAR: 1.162" OD tubing, 14 ga. For applications for
children aged 2-12 and 5-12 Chin Bar is 1.31” OD tubing. Height at direction of
customer or 84” maximum.
CHAIN NET CLIMBER: Chains are vertical, 4/0 galvanized, welded link, with
horizontal rungs of 1.16” tubing welded to links, coated with “plastisol” after
fabrication. Unit attaches to 1.90” OD tubing frame and anchors below grade; 3/8”
galv. S-hooks at top and bottom
FIREPOLE: J-shaped pole is fabricated from 1.90" OD tubing extending 60” above
deck. Unit attaches to center of deck opening. 10ga. Bracket attached under deck
stabilizes assembly. Not recommended for children under age 5.
