Start Up & Operaon

Select the proper turbine/gearbox v-belt pulley and gearbox range combinaon. Cauon! Always

make sure the Turbine is stopped before making any changes to the turbine and gearbox pulley

sengs.

Turbine Speed Sengs:

Refer to the speed range chart for correct selecon by ulizing the following steps:

1. Select the proper speed range from the “Turbine Drive Speed Range” chart.

2. Veriy the turbine is stopped & select the desired turbine and gearbox pulley seng based on desired

speed of retracon (/hr).

Cauon! Never aempt to change pulley sengs when the gearbox is under load. Serious damage

could occur to the gearbox. See page 12 for instrucons on how

to remove the load so that gearbox seng changes can be

made.

Changing Pulley Sengs:

If you need to change the pulley sengs, make certain the turbine is

stopped and perform the following steps:

1. Loosen the bolt holding the gearbox in place (See Photo 1 below).

2. Move the gearbox by pushing it forward as shown in Photo 2. This

will take tension o the belt and allow you to make the appropriate

pulley change.

3. Once the belt is on the correct pulley seng, pull the gearbox back

into posion and ghten the bolt.
