Get medical attention if irritation develops or persists.
Inhalation: If inhaled, remove to fresh air. If not breathing, give artificial respiration or give
oxygen by trained personnel. Seek immediate medical attention.
Ingestion: If swallowed, do NO T induce vomiting. C all a physician or poison control center
immediately. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person.
O ther First A id: Due to possible aspiration into the lungs, DO NOT induce vomiting if ingested.
Provide a glass of water to dilute the material in the stomach. If vomiting occurs
naturally, have the person lean forward to reduce the risk of aspiration.
SEC TION 5 - FIRE FIGHTING MEASURES
Flammable Properties: Extremely flammable aerosol. Contents are under pressure. Will release flammable
vapors at well below ambient temperatures and readily form flammable mixtures
with air. It will burn in the open and may be explosive in confined spaces.

Fire Fighting Instructions: Flammable. Cool fire-exposed containers using water spray.
Extinguishing Media: Use alc ohol resistant foam, carbon dioxide, dry chemical, or water fog or spray
when fighting fires involving this material.
Protective Equipment: A s in any fire, wear Self-C ontained Breathing Apparatus (SC BA ), MSHA /NIO SH
(approved or equivalent) and full protective gear.
Unusual Fire Hazards: Flammable liquid. Vapors can form an ignitable mixture with air. Vapors can flow
along surfaces to a distant ignition source and flash back.

SEC TION 6 - AC C IDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES
Personnel Precautions: Use proper personal protective equipment as listed in section 8.
Environmental Precautions: A void runoff into storm sewers, ditches, and waterways .
Spill Cleanup Measures: Remove all sources of ignition. A bsorb spill with inert material (e.g., dry sand or
earth), then place in a chemical was te container. Provide ventilation. C ollect spill
with a non-sparking tool. Place into a suitable container for disposal.
SEC TION 7 - HANDLING and STORAGE
Handling: Use with adequate ventilation. A void breathing vapor and contact with eyes, skin
and clothing. Material will accumulate static charges which may cause an
electrical spark (ignition source). Use proper grounding procedures.
Storage: Store in a cool, dry, well ventilated area away from sources of heat, combustible
materials, and incompatible substances. Keep container tightly closed when not in
use.
Work Practices : To reduce potential for static discharge, bond and ground containers when
transferring material.
Spec ial Handling Procedures: Do not reuse containers without proper cleaning or reconditioning.
Hygiene Practices: Was h thoroughly after handling. A void contact with eyes and skin. Avoid inhaling
vapor or mist.
SEC TION 8 - EXPOSURE C ONTROLS, PERSONAL PROTEC TION - EXPOSURE GUIDELINES
Engineering Controls: Use appropriate engineering control such as process enclos ures, local exhaust
ventilation, or other engineering controls to control airborne levels below
recommended exposure limits. Good general ventilation should be sufficient to
control airborne levels. Where such sys tems are not effective wear suitable
personal protective equipment, which performs satis factorily and meets OSHA or
other recognized standards. Consult with local procedures for selection, training,
inspection and maintenance of the personal protective equipment.
Eye/Face Protection: Wear appropriate protective glasses or splash goggles as desc ribed by 29 CFR
1910.133, O SHA eye and face protection regulation, or the European standard EN
166.
Skin Protection Description: Chemical-resistant gloves and chemical goggles, face-shield and synthetic apron
or coveralls should be used to prevent contact with eyes, skin or clothing.
Respiratory Protection: A NIO SH approved air-purifying respirator with an organic vapor cartridge or
canis ter may be permissible under certain circumstances where airborne
concentrations are expected to exceed exposure limits. Protection provided by air
purifying respirators is limited. Use a positive pressure air supplied respirator if
there is any potential for an uncontrolled release, exposure levels are not known,
or any other circumstances where air purifying respirators may not provide
adequate protection.
O ther Protective: Facilities storing or utilizing this material should be equipped with an eyewash
fac ility and a safety shower.
