KILZ® DRYWALL PRIMER & SEALER is formulated to prime and seal new, uncoated drywall which helps achieve a uniform, professional
quality nish.

APPLICATION:
Brush: Nylon / Polyester Blend
Roller: 3/8" – 1/2" nap
Airless Spray: Fluid pressure of 2,500 – 3,200 psi
Tip: .017" – .021"
Filter: 60 mesh
Dry Time: @ 77°F, 50% RH
Longer dry time required in cooler temperatures and in
higher humidity.
To Touch: 30 minutes
To Recoat: 1 hour
SURFACE PREPARATION:
Cover all nail and screw heads with joint compound
according to directions and sand to smooth surface.
Tape drywall and apply joint compound and allow to fully
cure according to directions prior to priming.
Sand to smooth surface before priming.
Wipe o dust with a damp cloth, allow to dry thoroughly.
WARNING! If you scrape, sand or remove old paint, you may
release lead dust. LEAD IS TOXIC. Contact the National Lead
Information Center at 1-800-424-LEAD or visit
www.epa.gov/lead.
CLEAN UP:
Use soap and water to clean hands, tools and spills. For
recycling or disposal of empty containers and unused
product, contact your household refuse collection service.
CAUTIONS/LIMITATIONS:
IMPORTANT! Do not open can without reading instructions.
• Interior use only.
• For use on uncoated drywall only.
• Do not use on oors.
• Do not use when air and surface temperatures are below
50°F or above 90°F.
• Allow 2 weeks for full cure before washing or cleaning.
• Do not use over glossy surfaces.
• Do not topcoat with glossy paint nishes.
• Shelf life under normal conditions is two years unopened.

Sanding, grinding or abrading may release sanding dust,
which may be harmful if inhaled and has been shown to
cause lung damage or cancer with long term exposure. Do
not breathe dusts, vapor, or spray mist. To avoid breathing
in dust, vapors, and spray mist, open windows and doors or
use other means to ensure fresh air entry during application,
drying, sanding, and/or abrading. If properly used, a
respirator (NIOSH approved with particulate pre-lter) may
oer additional protection and should be used if adequate
ventilation cannot be provided; obtain professional advice
before using. If you experience eye watering, headaches,
or dizziness during application or drying, increase fresh air
or leave the area. Avoid contact with eyes and skin. Wash
thoroughly after handling. Close container after each use.
FIRST AID: If you experience diculty in breathing,
leave the area to obtain fresh air. If continued diculty is
experience, get medical assistance immediately. In case of
eye contact, ush immediately with plenty of water for at
least 20 minutes and get medical attention; for skin, wash
thoroughly with soap and water. If swallowed, get medical
attention immediately.
