KILZ® PVA DRYWALL PRIMER is designed for use on new drywall. It is a fast drying, interior water-based primer formulated to prime
and seal new, uncoated drywall and reduce the number of topcoats required to achieve a uniform, professional quality nish.

Designed for use under at and low sheen paints only. Do not topcoat with glossy paint nishes.

SURFACE PREPARATION:
Cover all nail and screw heads with joint compound
according to directions and sand to smooth surface.

Tape drywall and apply joint compound and allow to fully
cure according to directions prior to priming.
Sand to smooth surface before priming.
*
Wipe o dust with a damp cloth, allow to dry thoroughly.

WARNING! If you scrape, sand or remove old paint, you
may release lead dust. LEAD IS TOXIC. Contact the National
Lead Information Center at 1-800-424-LEAD or visit
www.epa.gov/lead.
CLEAN UP:
Clean all tools and equipment with clean water. For disposal
of empty containers and unused product, contact your
household refuse collection service.
CAUTIONS/LIMITATIONS:
IMPORTANT! Do not open can without reading instructions.
• Interior use only.
• For use on uncoated drywall only.
• Do not use on oors.
• Do not use when air and surface temperatures are below
50°F or above 90°F.
• Allow 2 weeks for full cure before washing or cleaning.
• Do not use over glossy surfaces.
• Shelf life under normal conditions is 2 years unopened.
GENERAL INFORMATION:
CAUTION IRRITANT Avoid contact with eyes. May cause
eye, nose and throat irritation. Avoid breathing of dust,
vapors or spray mist. Open windows and doors or use
other means to ensure fresh air entry during application
and drying. If you experience eye watering, headache or
dizziness or if air monitoring demonstrates vapor/ mist
levels are above applicable limits, wear an appropriate,
properly tted respirator (NIOSH / MSHA TC -23C or
equivalent) during and after application. Follow
respirator manufacturer’s directions for respirator use.
Close container after each use. Wash thoroughly after
handling and before smoking or eating.
FIRST AID: If swallowed, do not induce vomiting.
Get medical attention immediately. If you experience
diculty in breathing, leave the area to obtain fresh
air. If continued diculty is experienced, get medical
attention immediately. In case of eye contact, ush eyes
immediately with plenty of water for at least 20 minutes
and get medical attention.
