12. Leds and Indicators
12.1 Zone Indicators (LED4 – 7)
The bi-color LED adjacent to each zone input connection indicates when that zone is in trouble
or in an active alarm condition. The LED will illuminate yellow to indicate a zone trouble due to
a ground fault, incorrect EOL resistance, or an open circuit in the field wiring for that zone. The
LED remains illuminated until the trouble condition is repaired.
The LED will illuminate red to indicate a short circuit / contact closure between the terminals of
that zone. The LED remains illuminated as long as that zone’s contact are shorted together.
