Security Panel
Check this box when using the
STAR with a Security Panel
(NOT a Fire Alarm). This
control silences the audible
beep that usually occurs with
every transmission.

Input Type
Select the input circuitry that is
used to trigger the transmitter.
For the STAR this should be
set to “STAR Interface”

Inter-Transmit Delay
The number of seconds that
must elapse between the end of
one message and the beginning
of the next. This is usually set
to 60, as required by FCC
regulations when they apply.

Tone Length
The length of time that each
tone is transmitted under
normal conditions. This is
usually set to 60 msec and
changing it may cause an
unpredictable reaction by the
receiver.
