With a growing drought problem faced in California, new legislation- Title 20- has been
passed by the California Energy Commission (CEC) in order to make these products more
efficient. Some of these plumbing fittings carried by Kingston Brass will be affected after the
legislation is set to become active on January 1, 2016.
Plumbing fittings which include  showerheads, lavatory faucets, kitchen faucets, tub spout
diverters- are now required to meet a lesser GPM as set by the CEC.

As one of our customers who is currently stocking our products. Wed like to notify you as
the products you have currently stocked do not meet the Water Flow Rates that are effective
on January 1
st
, 2016.
Please avoid dropshipping those products to the state of California in order to be compliant
with the new requirements.
Compliant products may be purchased directly from Kingston Brass. The original item
number may be used, but an additional note we be needed to inform us that you would like
the items to be CEC compliant. Alternatively, you made add a (+) to the item number to
indicate the special order item. For example: KS1971AL  KS1971AL+
