Make sure the that the input setting on the car stereo is set to AUX input.

3. Audio from my connected device sounds choppy after
the BTC455 is powered on
The BTC455 has a Multipoint feature that automatically connects to two devices
via Bluetooth. Multipoint will search for the second device within 30 seconds
of being powered on and may cause the audio to be choppy momentarily. This
issue will resolve itself after the devices have successfully connected.
