ENGLISH GETTING STARTED PREPARING THE COOK PROCESSOR FOR USE Be sure to: • Place the Cook Processor on a dry, flat, level surface such as a countertop or table. • Provide enough room above the Cook Processor to open lid and remove bowl. • Remove all packaging materials, if present. • Wash lid and attachments in hot, sudsy water and rinse thoroughly. CONNECTING YOUR COOK PROCESSOR BEFORE YOU BEGIN Make sure: • Your appliance is an 802.11g device. Please check that your wireless network is compatible. • Your Wi-Fi-enabled appliance is properly installed and turned on. • Your wireless router is turned on and you have an internet connection. SETTING UP YOUR NETWORK CONNECTION If you chose YES at Welcome Step 2, you will already be at the Wi-Fi screen. Otherwise, press the SETTINGS button to go to the Settings menu in order to connect to your Wi-Fi. 1.
Upon initial setup, you will be prompted to download recipes once the Cook Processor is connected to your Wi-Fi. If you choose not to download recipes at that time, you will be able to do so at any time by pressing the RECIPE button, or from the KitchenAid Connect app. In order to download recipes, Wi-Fi must be enabled and the Cook Processor must be connected to your Wi-Fi. Go to the SETTINGS menu to enable and connect to your Wi-Fi.
SETTINGS SOUNDS 1. From the Settings menu, choose SOUNDS. 2. Scroll to the sound you wish to change and press the knob to select. 3. You will be given the option to choose between OFF, LOW, or HIGH. SOFTWARE UPDATES IMPORTANT: Do not unplug the Cook Processor while the upgrade is in progress. The process can take up to 30 minutes, during which time the product cannot be used. To provide the best user experience, the Cook Processor may receive software updates from time to time.
ENGLISH ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS WEIGHING INGREDIENTS You can use the (Weight) function to weigh your ingredients at any time during Manual Cooking mode. If using a programmed recipe, you will be instructed to weigh your ingredients at the appropriate time. 1. Press . Weight will show as 0000. 2. Add ingredients being weighed to bowl. 3. To return to the main menu or to weigh more ingredients, press again.
USING STEAMER BASKETS The Cook Processor includes two different types of steamer baskets that can be used when cooking in certain modes. USING THE ROUND INTERNAL STEAMER BASKET 1 Place the bowl on the base, making sure it locks into place. If the bowl is not locked in place, BOWL UNLOCKED will show in the display. 2 Open the lid of the bowl and remove any food processing attachments, if desired. 3 Add ingredients or water to the bowl, according to the recipe.
USING THE UPPER AND LOWER STEAMER BASKETS The upper and lower steamer baskets can be used together. You can also use the lower steamer basket by itself, or with the inner steamer basket. 1 Place the bowl on the base, making sure it locks into place. If the bowl is not locked in place, BOWL UNLOCKED will show in the display. 2 Remove the lid by opening it, then disconnecting it from the hinge. 3 Add ingredients or water to the bowl, according to the recipe.
USING ACCESSORY PARTS MINI BOWL AND MINI MULTIBLADE Use the mini bowl and mini MultiBlade for processing smaller quantities. 1. Insert the mini bowl into the cooking bowl, aligning the arrows on the mini Bowl with the arrows on the cooking bowl. 2. Insert the mini MultiBlade. 3. Add foods to be processed. 4. Close and latch lid. 5. Engage lid locking lever. Use the mini bowl for food processing only. Do not use the mini bowl with cooking cycles.
ENGLISH USING MANUAL COOKING MODES 3 Add the ingredients for the first step of cooking. Do not exceed the MAX FILL line. 4 Close and latch the lid, and engage the locking lever. If the lid is not latched, LID UNLOCKED will show in the display when the speed lever or Pulse button is activated. 5 Press (temperature) and use the dial to set the desired cooking temperature. 6 Once temperature is set, the time will display. Use the dial to set the desired cooking time.
USING MANUAL COOKING MODES NOTE: If the Cook Processor is at a higher temperature when a lower temperature is selected, COOLING will appear in the display until the lower temperature is reached. IMPORTANT: To avoid splashing, always turn motor OFF before unlatching and opening the lid. WARNING! Hot surface during cooking. Do not touch! Lid, latches, and accessories may be hot. Use oven mitts or pot holders. 9 When the timer reaches 00:00, a tone will sound and the Cook Processor will turn off.
ENGLISH CARE AND CLEANING CLEANING YOUR COOK PROCESSOR The bowl and lid are dishwasher-safe, however handwashing is recommended. Unplug your Cook Processor from the wall socket before cleaning. • Allow Cook Processor and accessories to cool completely before cleaning. Exterior Surfaces: • Do not use abrasive cleaners or metal scouring pads. They could scratch the surface. • Wipe the outside of the Cook Processor with a clean, damp cloth and dry thoroughly.
CARE AND CLEANING REINSTALLING THE INNER LID SEAL 1 Insert the front edge under the tabs, as shown. 3 Work around to the front of the lid until the seal is seated completely on the lid. 2 Starting at the back, press the seal into place. 2 The Storage Case nests with the upper and lower Steamer Baskets and steamer lid.
